Step 1: the survey
Make an enquiry or give us a ring and we shall our arrange for one of our trained surveyor to visit you and discuss your specific requirements, including any storage requirements you may have. Your moving quotation will be sent to you by email within five working days. At this stage we shall also provide you with specific information relating to the forms that you will require, any specific restrictions on the importation of your goods and information relating to our marine insurance.
Step 2: the booking
To accept the quotation and make a firm booking we require a deposit to be sent back with a signed acceptance, confirming you have understood our terms and conditions. We are able to make provisional bookings if you are unsure of the completion date and would be happy to discuss this with you. We encourage you to come and pay us a visit if you want some assistance in filling out the forms.
Step 3: confirmation
A few days before the moving date we shall confirm arrangements and discuss any last minute changes that you may have.
Step 4: moving day(s)
Our supervisor will introduce himself to you and remain the main point of contact throughout the collection part of your move. Depending on the amount of possessions that we are moving, we shall be with you for up to four days packing, preparing and taking an inventory of your possessions for export. All of our overseas work requires specialist packing skills and materials and takes a lot longer to prepare than our domestic moving preparation.
Step 5: delivery
We cannot provide you with a 100% accurate delivery date but we can give you a rough idea and this will be discussed prior to your move. Prior to arrival in to the delivery country our overseas agents will contact you directly and they will prepare paperwork for customs clearance. Our usual ‘door to door’ service ensures our appointed agents in your destination country will deliver your items and unpack them as required by you.
