Britannia Squab Removals offers a comprehensive marine insurance policy to provide you with peace of mind whilst your goods are out of your hands. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all of your goods are packed and prepared to the highest standards there are many factors out of our control.

Our insurance provides cover from the moment we move your goods to the point of delivery and we always recommend that a minimum cover is in place prior to us collecting your goods.

With our four levels of cover we are to provide you with the cover that you require at a
competitive rate.

Restricted cover

Covers you for Total Loss only in respect of theft or non-delivery of the complete package or consignment. Please be aware, that if you are packing your own belongings, we are only able to offer you the Restricted Cover.

Standard cover

Covers you for Most Risks of physical loss and/or damage to your articles. (On this policy there is a £100.00 excess). This Insurance excludes the following:

Mechanical derangment

Consequentail loss

Mould and Mildew

Super cover

As standard but with no excess

Superior Cover

As super except, this insurance cover does include the following, which are excluded under our Restricted, Standard and Super Cover Policies:

Remember – don’t forget to insure your belongings for their full replacement value at the destination. If you need to make a claim our insurers will only be able to deal with your claim using the values you have declared.

Your Insurance cover will commence from the time the removal team pack your belongings, right through to the time of their delivery at the final destination, inclusive of the transit periods between each destination.
